How can we run a flower shop while reducing our footprint on the planet? That’s what we ask ourselves every day.
Sustainability is a journey we’re deeply committed to.
It defines the decisions we make and how we do business.

From sourcing local flowers first to ditching wax boxes and plastic wrapping, we’re on a mission to be known as Brisbane’s leading sustainable florist.
We’re also taking these eco actions:
Thoughtful purchasing
Only buying what we need. If we need to go back to the market several times a week to buy more flowers, that’s ok with us.
Stamping out plastic
As much as we can, we avoid plastic. Any soft plastic that does enter our doors is destined for RedCycle who turn it into recycled plastic products. We’ve also swapped ribbons for natural twine which can be reused before being composted.
Bye single use, hello reuse
Instead of water bags to keep your flowers alive, we use a glass vase for bouquets and a ceramic pot for arrangements.
Useful waste
All plant cuttings and green waste goes into green bins where it is mulched and put back into the ground. Our floral foam is plastic free and biodegradable.
Helium balloons won’t fly with us
We’re a Pro Environment Balloon Alliance (PEBA) member and we don’t support or facilitate the deliberate release of helium balloons. Any balloons we do stock come with a care card so you know how to safely dispose of your balloons.

Transparency is important and we’re upfront about what we do (and don’t do) and why.
We’re not perfect but we’re doing everything we can to be eco responsible every day.
